"Why are you always so over-dramatic? You force me to say things that hurt you."
"Should I run out and see this movie?"
You've asked that question and now allow me to answer... If this song means absolutely nothing to you:
[smh] Then don't waste our time. However, if a reluctant grin sneaks across your face as Bip Bippadotta sings his famous "Mahna Mahna" and you cut the video off 4 Mahna Mahna's in, then you will have a great time in the theater.
Through the years, the Muppet movies have always maintained a certain charm. As the world has moved forward, they've been forgotten... Which is the main idea of the film.
I don't think teens and under will enjoy it as much as the 23's and up. I say 23 year olds because they may have caught the "Muppet Babies" cartoon near the ending of their run or they may have been lucky enough to have found a few reruns of the Muppet Show on the vintage channel or something.
Three things to be aware of are as follows:
- This is a musical. So if musicals make you want to hurl, stay away.
- Watch the credits at the end for bonus material.
- Speaking of bonus, there is a really nice Toy Story short film pre- feature presentation so make sure you get there on time.
Letter grade is a B-.
