It was okay up until the finale... the guy he had to fight did not make ANY sense.  I know it wasn't a real story but as a scriptwriter you have to TRY and fool me.

     Very good mystery movie with even better twists and sub twists.  It just seemed like it went on a smidgen too long.  Really really liked it, did not love it though, still worth watching.

This was probably one of the biggest disappointments in cinema history considering the potential.
 Script was horrible. Superior casting job wasted.
We, the public, are YEARNING for a decent mob pic.
smh... How do you mess this up?
On a bright note.... this movie contains one of the cutest dogs that you'll ever see.

So this film is up for an Oscar huh?... I think the Oscar committee reached too far with this one... How many films got snubbed in order for Birdman to make the nominee list? Honestly, the movie had pretty good moments and the camera/story pace was interesting, alas it was just too much going on.  At times I felt the story got in it's own way.  Verily I say unto you, I don't think it would of been far fetched to nominate "Guardians of the Galaxy" as the very FIRST comic book genre Oscar nomination.

The Expendables 3

    It's just too much going on, the first story was a cohesive, interesting and an adventurous one.  This one and the one before it seem to be something Stallone wants more than we do.

Too bad I have to give a brief review, this picture certainly deserved more than a few words, as ALL the movie reviews do, but unfortunately the words " I expected more" should do nicely.

      This was thee BIGGEST cinema surprise of the year.  I could easily debate the surprise of the century.  No one and I mean no one expected much from this story, until the lights dimmed and the "film" started that is... lol

Oh how I wish I could delve into this experience. "Shotgun  Mode" prevents me but to my readers: There is a reason my blog got clogged here and now has me in catch-up mode.  This film deserved a little more then a novel's worth of material and I , as a perfectionist, never thought that I truly said how I felt so here, almost a year later, a robbery of a review, all I can say is I have the Bluray.  This is as good as it gets from the comic book genre. 
 I loved this film. HA!! Yes, I said it.... 'film'.
