I really enjoyed this movie.  My understanding is that it didn't do to well at the box office which really perplexes me.  
Everything about movies that one would enjoy was in this picture.  For those that want to argue the plausibility of  certain events in the showing well... It's John Carter of Mars.  You wouldn't argue the rules of someone else's imagination unless you're a disinter by nature or just really objective all together.
   I really appreciate how the story put itself together as you watched it.  I had literally NO idea why the nephew of a certain character was in the early beginning reading what he was reading or even, why he in the movie at all... 

Truly an adventure.

    This movie is a bar raiser for cinema, especially films in the "found-footage" genre.   Besides the occasional vertigo/dizziness, these are quickly becoming some of my favorite types of films to watch.  Since 'storytelling' is paramount to making a good film, these types of movies thrust you into the story, most times unrelenting and unapologetic... love that!

    Where this film excels is the unforeseeable arc of the main character.  You never really know what he is going to do next... what he is capable of doing next.  The audience gets yet another view point of the contrast between absolute power corrupting and the spirit of mercy and compassion championing.  We even see the balance point between the two extremes which led to some comedic in-depth truths about our human nature. Thanks to superb writing and an incredible editing room, most will be on the proverbial edge of their seat waiting for the conclusion.

   Can't wait for the unedited/Directors cut Bluray!

 I'm going to go ahead and classify this as a 'cult' film.   I'm in the theater with a bunch of ladies, old and young and they ALL just ate this film up.  In the end, I'm looking around surprised that I didn't get up and walk out.  Apparently, you have to be a fan of the book to appreciate this movie.   Unfortunately I didn't get this memo before hand.  Fortunately, I am the sacrificial lamb or your conquering hero [if you are a fan of the book] so that you won't be surprised. 

  I think that's all I'm going to say about this one... No need to waste more time off my computer warranty.
