Very honestly, the first one was over the top, the movie was just so awesome that we dismissed a lot of the fake stuff... You know, darting behind a couch and using it as a shield for the onslaught of an automatic weapon. Then emerging from the couch unscathed. Yeah, there was a little of that here but the story wasn't new, it wasn't refreshing. It felt like the original Taken regurgitated this instead of spawned it. Reminiscent of Hangover Part II.
I wanted to like it but ultimately I didn't. Not Worth watching... C-
